Background-

BNP Paribas Securities Services has extended its Data PRISM360 data management platform to give UniSuper daily investment exposure data spanning its entire fund structure, the first full-scale rollout of its kind. BNP Paribas, which holds USD 17.5 trillion in assets under custody, built the platform together with NeoXam, a top financial data software provider.

UniSuper, one of Australia’s largest profit-to-member superannuation funds, is the first client to take up the expanded capabilities. The move builds on the original Data PRISM360 launch with NeoXam and the monthly ESG datasets the fund has received since.

The datasets pull together every holding across the fund and layer on classification, reference and market attributes for each one. Data flows on a set daily schedule through data-sharing tools straight into UniSuper’s own systems, giving the investment team one consistent view of fund holdings they can aggregate and break down across different attributes.

Dharmendra Dayabhai, who heads portfolio implementation and liquidity management at UniSuper, described the milestone as a solid base for the fund’s push toward data-led decisions, pointing to NeoXam’s technology paired with BNP Paribas’ ongoing platform support.

NeoXam CEO Florent Fabre said the launch reflects exactly what the platform was designed to deliver, giving UniSuper an investment exposure record with an ESG layer that lets the fund track exposures across its structure.

Rémi Toucheboeuf, who leads investment analytics and data services at BNP Paribas Securities Services, said the rollout deepens the firm’s work with UniSuper and brings more transparency and stronger data governance.
